Last updated: 18 November 2025

1. What Personal Information (PI) data is collected?

In accordance with At The Crux’s data minimisation principles, data collected on individuals is limited to only that which is demonstrably required to fulfil At The Crux’s activities and in accordance with the relevant jurisdiction.

2. How is the PI data used?

We use Personal Information to:
• Analyse and improve the website’s performance
• Run advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook
• Measure and improve the effectiveness of our marketing
• Understand what content is most relevant to our visitors

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve performance, understand user behaviour, and serve relevant advertising. These include:
Google Analytics – to track website traffic and user interactions
Facebook Pixel – to deliver and measure the performance of Facebook ads
HotJar – to understand how users interact with our site through heatmaps, recordings, and feedback tools

Other tools may also be used from time to time. You can control or opt out of cookies through your browser settings.

4. With whom is PI shared?

Visitor and User data will never be sold or shared with third-party marketers for commercial purposes. We may disclose PI to comply with a court order, subpoena, or a request from a law enforcement agency, and when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our Visitors and Users.

If you provide your contact details (such as name and email address) to hear from us or our affiliated ministries, you are consenting to receive communication from Martyn Iles and the ministries he is associated with. This may include occasional updates from trusted partners such as Proto. We will only share your contact information with these partners where we believe the communication will be of genuine interest and aligned with the values you’ve opted into.

5. How is PI data stored?

PI information collected by At The Crux is securely stored and not accessible by unauthorised third parties.

We may use reputable third-party services that collect, monitor, and analyse data on our behalf. These providers have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review, to understand how they manage and protect your data.

6. What choices are available regarding collection, use, distribution, and deactivation or deletion of PI?

We will approach groups of users regarding the collection, use, or distribution of data to offer specific services or capabilities. We provide Visitors and Users with a mechanism to delete or deactivate PI by contacting hello@atthecrux.com.

7. How does At The Crux keep PI secure?

Employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The PI of Visitors and Users is only accessible to limited employees. Security systems and processes are audited on a regular basis.

We take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure platform. However, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering, and break-ins. We cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not occur and therefore will not be liable to Visitors or Users for any such occurrences.

8. What happens if the data privacy policy changes?

We will inform Visitors and Users about any changes by posting updates on our website. However, if changes might cause disclosure of PI that a Visitor or User has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact those directly impacted.
